As of 14 Feb 2012. A loaf of Gardenia bread from NTUC Fairprice is SGD $1.85. A loaf of Gardenia bread is quite small compared to the type of loaf you would get from a typical supermarket in a Western country.

For 'real' bread from a deli like Cedele or an Italian deli like Da Paolo or Gabiati Gormet Deli one can expect to pay between SGD $3 to SGD $6 for a loaf.
